Yaz is a fourth generation contraceptive manufactured by Bayer. Yaz is marketed as both Yasmin and the generic Ocella and all contain the unique combination of drospirenone, a progestin, and ethinyl estradiol, an estrogen. Since coming to the market in 2001, Yasmin has caused a myriad of injuries for women including:

In many cases, women who have experienced these symptoms after using Yaz, Yasmin, or Ocella have had to have their gallbladders removed.
