Position Overview
We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to become a part of our team! Our office provides a collaborative and fast-paced environment with a focus on ensuring the best possible experience for our clients. As the Litigation Paralegal, you will have the opportunity to be involved in crucial parts of a personal injury case, including discovery, preparing and filing cases, and investigating relevant facts throughout the course of litigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with filing cases, motions, and other litigation documents;
- Assist with preparation of discovery, including reviewing drafts with clients and attorneys;
- Assist with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits and witness lists;
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests;
- Interview clients and witnesses to gather necessary information for case preparation;
- Manage and track case filing and statutory deadlines;
- Send out firm-wide communications on upcoming deadlines and schedule for personal injury cases;
- Organize and maintain case files and documents;
- Organize and schedule internal meetings, hearings, depositions, mediations, and client calls, etc.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree;
- At least 1 year of prior experience as a paralegal OR completion of paralegal schooling;
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, and Microsoft Access;
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Good work ethic, attention to detail, and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Personal Injury experience in any position;
- Highly organized with strong management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously
- Prior experience filing cases in Minnesota
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Title: Associate Attorney – Workers Compensation
Location: Brooklyn Center & Coon Rapids, Minnesota

Position Overview
As a key member of the legal team, you will be responsible for litigating Workers Compensation claims from intake to resolution. The role involves drafting, serving, and filing documents, legal research and motion practice, client communication, handling discovery, depositions, mediations, arbitrations and trying cases at both the state or federal level. You’ll work closely with attorneys, paralegals and support staff and have the opportunity to manage a caseload with professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Litigate workers compensation claims from intake through resolution.
- Draft, serve, file, and argue motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
- Conduct client interviews, provide legal counsel, and maintain consistent client communication.
- Handle discovery, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, trial preparation and trial.
- Communicate and collaborate with co-workers, including attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
- Manage and track case deadlines to ensure timely progress and filings.
- Perform other assignments as needed to support the legal team.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Minnesota and in good standing with the bar.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- Good work ethic, attention to detail, and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of previous experience in workers compensation.
- Background in customer service or client-facing roles.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite (Office, Outlook, and Excel).
- Self-starter with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
