Settlement for DePuy ASR Hip Implant Lawsuits

Johnson & Johnson has agreed to pay $2.5 billion to settle the lawsuit of their faulty DePuy ASR hip replacement system. This settlement though, does not cover all of the lawsuits related to their hip implants. This settlement covers those who had this particular implant installed and then removed before August 31, 2013.

The patients fall into one of three categories (all eligible patients must have had the implant implanted in the United States, and be legal resident or citizen). The first is for those patients who have undergone revision surgery for one hip implant. The second is those who have revision surgery for both hips. The third is for patients who suffered medical complications following the revision surgery.

It is important to note, that if you have not contacted an attorney yet to discuss if you qualify for this settlement, all claims must be registered by January 6, 2014, and your claim must be filed by April 1, 2014.

Do not hesitate to call our experienced lawyers to see if you qualify for the settlement.
